Korey Schall

Korey Tyler Schall age 23 of York, NE died Friday, August 21, 2009 at York. He was born April 24, 1986 at York to Jay and Lori (Martens) Schall and graduated from York High School in 2004. Korey was a foreman at Crane and Grain Service in York. He loved fishing, hunting, skiing and being outdoors. He also enjoyed playing poker and spending time with his family especially with his son Skyler.

He is survived by his father Jay Schall of Waco, NE, his mother Lori and her husband Steve Badberg of Pacific Junction, IA and his son Skyler of York. His three brothers include Brian Schall of York, Joshua Schall of Waco and Nathan Badberg of Pacific Junction, IA and his sister Joslyn Schall of York. Also surviving is his special friend Kristy Lamonde of York. His grandparents Larry and his wife Phyllis Schall of York, Shirley Martens of Exeter, NE, his grandfather Brad Martens of Ogallala, NE Also surviving his great grandmother Dorene Wilson of Exeter.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, August 27, 2009 at the Metz Chapel in York with burial in the Plainfield Cemetery west of Bradshaw, NE. Memorials may be directed to Skyler Schall’s Educational Fund. Visitation begins after 5:00 pm Tuesday at the mortuary with his family greeting friends from 7:00-8:30 pm Wednesday evening also at the mortuary.
