Elsie Sanmann

Elsie M. Sanmann age 95 of York, NE died Saturday, December 17, 2011 at York. She was born July 2, 1916 in York County, NE to Rollie C. and Mabel A. (Klone) Churchill and was a longtime member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in York. On October 8, 1939 she was married to Wilbur T. Sanmann in York.

She is survived by her three nephews; Kenneth and his wife Sheila Green of Lincoln, NE Gary and his wife Lois Green of Lee Summit, MO and Jim Green of Green Valley, AZ and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her brother Clarence and sister Elizabeth.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 22, 2011 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in York with the Reverend Terry Crosier officiating. Burial was in York’s Greenwood Cemetery with memorials being directed to First Evangelical Lutheran Church in York.
