Debra Saltzman

Debra Marie Saltzman, age 53, of Lushton, NE, died Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Omaha, NE. She was born February 27, 1958 at Columbia, MO to Delmar and Lois (Kuhns) Saltzman. She previously worked as a CNA and attended the Lushton Community Church. The youngest of 12 children, Debra was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt.

Survivors include two sons: Jacob Rojas, wife Diane and son Joaquin of Kearney, NE, and Dustin Rojas, wife Alyssa and son Jordan of Omaha, NE. Also surviving is her dear friend and father of her sons, George Rojas of Hastings, NE. Debra leaves behind 11 siblings, Roger (Judy) Saltzman of Lushton, Cheryl Saltzman of Lushton, Beth Ortgies of Hastings, Twila (Kenn) Mallory of Winnebago, NE, Linda (Mike) Iversen of Sugarland, TX, Steve (Joyce) Saltzman of Versailles, MO, Kathy Hall of New Brighton, MN, Neal (Toni) Saltzman of Goleta, CA, Niles (Debbie) Saltzman of Seward, NE, Terry Saltzman of Camarillo, CA, and Candice (Dave) Zaniboni of Santa Barbara, CA. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also morn her loss. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 5, 2011 at the Community Bible Church, Lushton, NE. Private family inurnment at the Lushton Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
