Lois Rodenbur

Lois Ann Rodenbur, age 67 of York, NE, died October 5, 2006 in York. She was born on December 3, 1938 to George and Mary (Carda) McCarthy in Wagner, SD. On June 5, 1961 she was united in marriage to Lloyd Rodenbur in Wagner. Lois was a secretary for Attorney John Brogan, was a cook at St. Joseph’s Catholic School, and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in York.

Lois is survived by three sons: Lloyd (Susan) Rodenbur Jr. and their son Trevor of Oklahoma City, OK; Leonard (Gayla) Rodenbur and their children Ryan, Raelynn, and Rheann of Ingalls, KS; and Lance (Valerie) Rodenbur of Lincoln, NE. She is also survived by one sister JoAnn Stock of Yankton, SD and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband, parents, brothers: George and Richard, and sister Georgena Varela .

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, October 9, 2006 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in York with Fr. Mark Tasler presiding. A Rosary was said on Sunday, October 8, 2006 at the mortuary. Memorials may be directed to the family.
