Dixie Rhodes

Dixie Lee Rhodes, age 58, of York, NE, died Sunday, June 3, 2012 at York. She was born May 19, 1954 at Osceola, NE to Dale and Margaret (Bond) Rhodes. She attended the New Heights Assembly of God Church in York. Dixie enjoyed eating out, going on little trips, Elvis music, and spending time with friends and family.

Left to cherish her memory is her brothers, Rex Rhodes of Omaha, NE and Jerry (Judy) Rhodes of Gresham, NE; sisters Evelyn Troxler from Missouri and Myra Rhodes from California; sisters-in-law, Shirley Rhodes of Gresham and Jane Rhodes of York. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family from Region V. Preceding Dixie in death were her parents, two infant sisters, one infant brother, and brothers Bob Rhodes and Max Rhodes.

Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at First United Methodist Church in York with the Reverend Pat Norris officiating. Interment was in the Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Gresham, NE. Memorials may be directed to Region V.
