Tena Regier

Tena Regier age 91 of Henderson, NE died Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Henderson. She was born July 21, 1917 at Inman, KS to Dietrich and Lena (Loepp) Hildebrand and graduated from Inman High School. She was a member of the Bethesda Mennonite Church at Henderson, enjoyed playing games, making quilts, babysitting, gardening and flowers. On January 31, 1937 she was married to Ferdinand Regier at Dinuba, CA.

She is survived by sons, Wendell and his wife LaVerna Regier of Henderson and Gene and his wife Katie Regier of Scott City, KS. Her daughter Janet Anderson of Kearney, NE. 9 Grandchildren 14 Great Grandchildren Also surviving are two brothers, Eldo Hildebrand of Dinuba, CA and Floyd Hildebrand of Fresno, CA and her sister Marie Heidebrecht of Inman, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Richard and a grandson.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at the Bethesda Mennonite Church in Henderson with the Reverend Weldon Martens officiating followed by burial in the Bethesda Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Mennonite Central Committee. Visitation begins after 1:00 pm Monday with her family greeting friends at 7:00 pm Monday evening at the mortuary.
