Evelyn Ratzlaff

Evelyn Ratzlaff, age 85 of York, died Thursday, December 2, 2004 at York. She was born September 11, 1919 at Waco to William and Ida (Pijan) Dobberstein. On January 11, 1948, she married Robert L. Ratzlaff in York. Evelyn worked for many years at the May Floral Co. in York and later at Patty’s Hallmark. She is survived by her 2 sons; Dennis and his wife Terry Grobe of Waltham, MA. And Rodney and his wife Patricia of Hastings, NE; grandchildren, Lance of Hastings, Amber (Joe) Kuphal of Clinton, IA and Julia Ratzlaff of Waltham, MA; great-granddaughter Abigail Kuphal of Clinton, IA. Preceding her in death were her husband, parents, 2 brothers and her sister.

Funeral services were held on Monday, December 6, 2004 at 2:00 pm at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York with the Rev. Tim Marshall officiating. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery.
