Dorothy Prince

Dorothy M. “Dot” Prince, age 71, of York, NE, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at York. She was born February 23, 1937 at St. Paul, NE to Oscar and Francis (Ewers) Reynolds. She graduated from St. Paul High School and was united in marriage to Donald G. Prince on June 17, 1956 at St. Paul. Dot worked for the York Public Schools as Study Hall Supervisor for 35 years. She also worked at the York Pump and Pantry Store for the last 22 years. During those years she touched many lives and made many friends. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in York and an active member of the York Eagles Auxiliary #3990. Dot loved being outdoors, fishing, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sons Dave Prince and Doug (Deb) Prince of York; daughter Deb Siebrass of York; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers: Dale (Elaine) Reynolds of Washington State, Rolland (Lou) Reynolds of Grand Island, NE, Don (Jeannie) Reynolds of Hastings, NE; and one sister Jeannette Graunke of Tucson, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral services were Saturday, April 5, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church in York with the Reverend Jeff Wulf officiating. Interment was at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Palmer, NE. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
