Leslie Plock

Leslie L. Plock, age 81 of Fairmont, died Monday, May 21, 2007 at Fairmont. He was born on May 13, 1926 to Fred E. and Maudie (Burnette) Plock at rural McCool Jct., NE. On October 21, 1945 Les was united in marriage to Alene “Blondie” E. Overmiller at Belleville, KS. Les’ life was fulfilled through farming the land of Nebraska. He also collected numerous antiques and guns.

He is survived by two sons: Skip (Mary) Plock of York, NE and Joe (Shirley) Plock of Fairmont; one daughter: Cindy Uselman of Salem, OR; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one sister Donna (Duane) Naismith also of Fairmont. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

Memorial services were held Saturday, May 26, 2007 at the McCool Jct.United Methodist Church with the Reverend Jeff Adams officiating. Inurnment will be held at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in McCool Jct. at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the McCool United Methodist Church.
