Alma Overgard

Alma P. “Nancy” Overgard, age 67, of McCool Jct., NE, died Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at York. She was born April 21, 1944 in Fall River, KS to Earl and Beatrice (Underwood) Smith. She was married to LeRoy Overgard. Nancy was an apparel associate at Walmart in Sidney. She was a former member of the Eagles, enjoyed knitting, crocheting, doing bead work, and playing computer games.

Survivors include her daughter Christina (special friend Tony Shepherd) Overgard of McCool Jct.; son Curtis (Cindy) Overgard of Sidney, NE; grandchildren, Ty Michael Overgard and Kody Lee Overgard from West Virginia, Jacob Tyler Overgard of McCool Jct., Tyson Clay Bockhahn of Sidney, Brianna LaTrelle Bockhahn of McCool Jct., and Koby Craig Bockhahn of Sidney. Other survivors include a brother, Roger Sterner of Laramie, WY and a sister, JoAnn (E.A.) Haldiman of Muncie, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and a sister.

A Celebration of Life gathering was held at 10:00 am Saturday, December 17, 2011 at the Metz Chapel in York. No viewing or visitation. Memorials may be directed to the family.
