After High School she worked at the hatchery, the local grocery store, different cafes, and eventually retired from Dart Custom Imprinting.
On June 1, 1948, she was united in marriage to LeRoy Nunnenkamp in the Bethesda Mennonite Church in Henderson. To this union, one daughter and four sons were born. Luetta did a lot of work on the farm. She always had a large garden, did a lot of baking and helping in the field. After LeRoy passed away, “mother” spent several lonely years on the farm before moving into Henderson in April of 1985. She kept on working in the nursing home until April of 1987 when she started working at Dart Custom Imprinting. She worked there until her retirement and was always glad to return to help out whenever she was needed.
