Cathy Noble

Cathy F. Noble, age 58 of York, NE, formerly of Gresham, NE, died Sunday, September 26, 2010 at York. She was born August 22, 1952 at Stromsburg, NE to Leroy and Edna (Irmer) Doremus. On May 15, 1971, Cathy and Timothy Noble were married in Gresham. Cathy was the relief postmaster at the Gresham post office for many years and in her free time, enjoyed crafts, sewing and was an avid reader.

Survivors include her son Shane (Sara) Noble of Stromsburg; daughter Karri (James) Hood of Staplehurst, NE; two grandsons, Colton Hood of Staplehurst and Dalton Noble of Stromsburg; three granddaughters, Meagan Jenkins, Josi Noble, and Misty Noble all of Stromsburg. Also surviving are two sisters, Rose Doremus of Lakewood, CO and Sandra (Bruce) Cramer of York. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, infant daughter, and sister, Jan Reikofski.

Private graveside services were held Saturday, October 2, 2010 at the Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Gresham followed by a Celebration of Life gathering at 12:00 noon at the Gresham Community Center. Memorials may be directed to the York General Hearthstone, York General Dialysis, or the Gresham Fire Department.
