Patricia Nicholson

Patricia Ellen Nicholson, age 63 of Silver Creek, NE, died Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at Lincoln. She was born May 10, 1944 at Omaha, NE to Cyrus and Hulda (Butterfield) Moore. She graduated from high school in Port Hueneme, CA and later in life attained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business from William Woods University in Fulton, MO. She was united in marriage to Robert L “Nick” Nicholson on July 19, 1962 at Las Vegas, NV. Patricia was a Navy wife for 25 years and recently worked at ITT Industries in Qatar. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Eastern Star. Patricia enjoyed art and was a terrific cook and gardener. Above all, she cherished her family and was a loving wife, mother and sister.

She is survived by her husband Nick of Silver Creek; son Clinton O’Neill Nicholson of Yorktown, VA; brothers, Paul (Claire) Moore of Ames, IA, Cyrus (Janet) Moore of York, NE and James (Mary) Moore of York, NE; sisters Carole Moore of Lincoln, NE and Margaret (Bob) Summer of Topeka, KS; sister-in-law Phyllis Moore from Arizona. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents and brothers, David, Tom, Art and Lloyd “Blacky”.

Funeral services were Saturday, April 19, 2008 at the Metz Chapel in York, NE. Burial followed at York’s Greenwood Cemetery.
