Deborah Morgan

Deborah Kay Morgan age 50 of York, NE died at her home Saturday, November 10, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 11, 1957 to Vernon D. and Bonnie L. (Tesinsky) Cliffords in Inglewood, CA. She graduated from Osceola High School in 1975. She had been employed by Hughs Brothers, Walkers, Even Temp, and finally Champion Home Builders until she could no longer work due to her cancer. On August 6, 2001 Deborah was united in marriage to Louis William “JR” Morgan in Sturgis, South Dakota. Deborah was a true matriarch with a tender spirit. Her generosity was apparent in how she took care of others, especially her boys. She was one to lead a conversation and for that reason never met a stranger. Deborah enjoyed collecting antiques and working on craft projects. She had an affinity towards motorcycles and taking trips to Sturgis. Deborah was a hard worker in every aspect of her life, from early before sunrise, beyond the sun setting. She filled her family’s hearts…a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend…and now, a hole has been left in their world.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband JR Morgan of York; sons: Jeremie and Jesse Jones and Miles Morgan all of York; grandson Ryland Garretson of York; brothers: Greg Cliffords and his fiancé Terri of Phoenix, AZ; Cork (LaDon) Cliffords of Roscoe, IL; and Bryan (Jackie) Cliffords of Osceola, NE; sister: Michelle (Greg) Roan of Grand Island, NE; nieces: Heather, Allison, LaShonna, and Josephina Cliffords and Natalie Roan; nephews: Anthony, Kelly, Jeret, Haggon, and Brennon Cliffords and Jacob Roan; parents in-law: Bernard and Sandra Brooks of Farmer City, IL.
