William Monnier

William V. (Bill) Monnier age 52 of Hastings, NE formerly of York, died Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at Hastings. He was born July 31, 1953 at York to John R. “Bob” and Delores (Heiden) Monnier. Bill was a graduate of York High School and a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York. He was a factory worker having worked at Champion Home Builders and Kroy Manufacturing in York and most recently at Dana Corporation in Hastings for the past 10 years. He enjoyed watching television and movies, especially westerns. He was a hard worker, a good listener and always willing to lend a helping hand. He is survived by his parents, Bob and Delores Monnier of Lebanon, KS, three brothers, Steve Monnier of Millersville, MD., Richard & Sheila Monnier of Hastings, and Randy & Nancy Monnier of Lincoln. Also surviving are two nieces and one nephew. Memorial services have been scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at the Metz Chapel in York with the Reverend Tim Marshall officiating. Inurnment will be in York’s Greenwood Cemetery. Bill was cremated so there will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
