Esther Miller

Esther L. Miller, age 92 of York, died Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at York. She was born on March 16, 1915 to Alexander and Friedericka (Miller) Heckman at Beaver Crossing. She was a nurse’s aide at the Friend Manor for over 20 years. She was united in marriage to Leslie Miller on March 11, 1944 at Beaver Crossing. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Beaver Crossing. Esther enjoyed playing cards, cross-stitching and crocheting.

She is survived by her daughter Lynette Naber of York, grandson Thomas and his wife Angie of Marietta, GA, and great granddaughter Alyssa Naber also of Marietta. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, and two sisters.

Esther was be laid to rest by her family at the Friend Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.
