Lori McLain
Lori A. McLain, age 44 of Omaha, formerly of York, NE, died Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at Omaha following a seven month battle with Acute Melogenous Leukemia. She was born May 25, 1964 at York to Roy and Rosalie (Billesbach) McLain. Lori was a senior care manager with Magellan Health Services in Omaha and was a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church also in Omaha. She enjoyed sports of all kinds, especially Indy Car Racing and Cornhusker football. Lori was an avid gardener and loved working with her flowers.
She is survived by her parents, Roy and Rosalie McLain of York; brothers, Michael and his wife Sue McLain of Beatrice, NE, and Scott and his wife Denise McLain of Lincoln, NE; one sister, Kathy and her husband John Launder of Fayetteville, AR; nine nieces and nephews; numerous other relatives and a host of friends. Preceding her in death were her grandparents.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 8, 2008 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in York with the Reverend Mark Tasler officiating. Burial followed at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in York.
