Donna M. McConnell

Donna M. McConnell, age 54 of York, died Thursday, September 23, 2004 at York. She war born on February 24, 1950 at Grand Island, Nebraska to Leo & Betty (Gray) Lear. For the last 5 years Donna was employed at Petro of York. She was married to Donn McConnell on July 27, 1973 at Kearney, Nebraska.

She is survived by her sons, Gary McConnell of York and Patrick McConnell of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 1 grandchild; her mother Betty Schaumann of York; three brothers, Don (Cindy) Kyhn of Fairmont, Nebraska and Dan Lear and Wayne (Joan) Lear all of Phillips, NE. She was preceded in death by her father, husband, daughter, Tammy Kay, and son, Donn McConnell.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in York with the Reverend Jeff Wulf officiating. Burial will be in the Council Cemetery west of York. Visitation will begin at Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Metz Mortuary. Memorials may be directed to the family.
