Janice K. Lundy

Janice K. Lundy age 64 of York, Nebraska died Monday, June 27, 2005 at Omaha. She was born May 10, 1941 at York to Wade D. and Florence (Sloan) Sloan and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in York. Janice was employed at the Nebraska Center for Women here in York for 15 years and also was a bookkeeper in the York area for many years. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, computer work and loved animals as she was a volunteer at York Adopt-A-Pet. She also enjoyed sewing and owned ‘Portraits by Jan’ as well. On April 11, 1976 she was married to Jack P. Lundy at York. She is survived by a daughter Tylyn Hill of York; one granddaughter Tiaffani Berg of Stanley, N.C; one great grandson Jeremiah Carver of Stanley, N.C. Also surviving is a former daughter in law Karolyn and her husband Brian Husa of Lincoln. Many nieces and nephews and a host of cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack and a son Brad.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in York with the Rev. Art Phillips officiating. Burial will be in York’s Greenwood Cemetery.
