Richard Lundquist

Richard C. “Dick” Lundquist age 52 of Stromsburg, NE, died Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at Johnson City, TN. He was born on March 2, 1954 to Richard E. and Esther Mae (Winans) Lundquist. He was a York High School graduate and was married to Kathleen English on March 8, 1996 at York, NE. Dick was a truck driver having been employed at Crete Carriers for over 20 years and then finally for Fremont Carriers for the past 10. He was a member of the York Eagle’s Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing and cookouts. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Dick is survived by his wife Kathy and his daughter Allison both of Stromsburg; 2 grandchildren, Austin Ayers and Zachary Haug both of Stromsburg; 3 sisters, Sharon (Jack) Genners of Omaha, Amy (Gerald) Huschka of Garden City, KS and Ann Morgan of York. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services were held Monday, January 16, 2006 at the Metz Chapel in York. Interment followed at York’s Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.
