Gladys Linton

Gladys Linton, 91 of Gresham, NE, died Tuesday, July 1, 2003 in York. She was born August 16, 1911 on the family farm in Polk County to Elmer and Emma (Lux) Rasp. She graduated from Gresham High School. Gladys married Lewis Linton on March 15, 1948 in Wahoo. She and her husband were longtime Polk County farmers. Lewis died in 1983.

Gladys is survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband and one sister, Iris Dey.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 5, 2003 at Metz Chapel in York. Burial was in the Blue Ridge Cemetery north of Gresham. Memorials are suggested to the Gresham Volunteer Fire Dept.
