Kathleen Klein

Kathleen “Kay” Klein age 83 of York, NE died Sunday, February 05, 2006 at Lincoln. She was born October 18, 1922 at Kearney, NE to Martin and Irene (Warrick) Hile. Kay graduated from Ravenna High School in 1939 and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in York where she belonged to the Church Circle. She was also a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution, the Friendship Club and the Benedict Beauties. On March 27, 1943 she was married to Erwin L. Klein at Lake City, Florida.

She is survived by four sons, James E. and his wife DeAnn Klein of Phoenix, AZ, Regan E. and his wife Stevie Klein of Taylors, South Carolina, Lindell R. and his wife Cathy Klein of York and Joel M Klein of Phoenix, AZ. Seven Grandchildren include, Andrew Klein and Matthew Klein, Christopher, Nickolas and Dena Klein, Lin and Erin Klein. Also a great grandson Tristan Klein. Also surviving are one brother, Mickey and his wife Julie Hile of Frederick Maryland and one sister, Marta and her husband Robert Moyer of Ord, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her brother Jack Hile.

Funeral services were held, Friday, February 10, 2006 at the First United Methodist Church in York with the Rev, Arthur Phillips officiating. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery in York. Memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church in York.
