Hazel Kirkpatrick

Hazel E. Kirkpatrick age 75 of York, NE died Thursday, February 15, 2007 at Utica, NE. She was born December 17, 1931 to Milo E. and Aretha (Boyle) Zimmerman. Hazel worked at the Hearthstone in York for a number of years and then did private home healthcare in the York area. Hazel enjoyed fishing, reading, being with her family and was formerly a member of the York Eagles Club. On October 4, 1950 she was married to James M. Kirkpatrick at Lincoln. She is survived by three sons, Gary Kirkpatrick and his wife Lynda of Kearney, NE, Don Kirkpatrick of Marquette, NE and Rex Kirkpatrick of Wauneta, NE. Three daughters, Suzie and her husband Martin Rousseau of York, Diana Kirkpatrick of Utica and Lisa Wood and special friend Kenny Wood of York and her daughter-in-law, Pat Kirkpatrick of Utica. 16 Grandchildren 3 Great Grandchildren Three brothers, Jack and his wife Cheryline Zimmerman of Milford, Raymond Zimmerman and Richard Zimmerman both from Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Mervin, one daughter Janet and a brother James.

Memorial services were held Sunday, February 18, 2007 at the Metz Chapel in York with the Reverend Mike Eickhoff officiating. Private family burial will be in Council Cemetery west of York. Memorials may be directed to the Utica Care Center.
