Connie Kemp

Connie Lyn Kemp age 57 of York, NE formerly of Lincoln and Fremont, NE died Monday, December 7, 2009 at York. She was born May 19, 1952 to Gerald and Jacqueline (Hamann) Wagner in Omaha, NE. Connie was a graduate of Fremont High School. She worked as a telephone operator for the Lincoln Telephone Company for 25 years. She was a member of the New Life Church of the Nazarene in York and Plains Baptist Church in Lincoln. She enjoyed working on crafts, going to church, reading her Bible, and singing.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters: Jessica Westwood of Lincoln, NE and Jennifer (Greg) Emerson of Springfield, MO and grandson on the way Baby Boy Emerson; two brothers: Ralph (Paula) Wagner of Fremont and John (Diane) Wagner of York; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 10, 2009 at The New Life Church of the Nazarene in York with the Reverend Stephen Sheets officiating. Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 11, 2009 at Ridge Cemetery in Fremont. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9-9 with family greeting friends from 7-9pm that evening. Memorials may be directed to Compassionate Ministries or to the family.
