Helen Kelley

Helen M. Kelley age 92 of York, NE died Sunday, December 17, 2006 at York. She was born August 27, 1914 at Rosedale, MO to William Floyd and Pearl M (Ball) Kuhn and graduated from Belleville High School in 1931. Helen was a member of the First United Methodist Church in York and a former member of the First United Methodist Church at Belleville, KS. She taught rural school for several years around Belleville then was employed at the Republic County Hospital. She also helped her husband on the family farm as well. Helen enjoyed her grandchildren, knitting and her coffee clubs. On June 4, 1933 she was married to Ralph E. Kelley at Belleville, KS.

She is survived by her son Robert and his wife Dixie Kelley of Topeka, KS and one daughter Sharon and her husband Morris Dolezal of York, NE. Three grandchildren, Robin and her husband Mark Arnold of Ft Worth, TX, Kristin and her husband Scott Billingsley of Keller, TX and Mindy and her husband Tim Roberts of Lincoln, NE. Seven Great grandchildren, Jonathan Arnold, Allison Arnold and Matthew Arnold all of Ft Worth, TX, Cole Billingsley and Carter Billingsley of Keller, TX, and Taylor Roberts and Jerrad Roberts both of Lincoln. Also surviving is a brother in law Clarence and his wife Alice Kelley of Belleville, KS and a sister in law Verna Kelley of Concordia, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph and an infant sister.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at the First United Methodist Church in Belleville, KS with burial in the Belleville Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the church in Belleville.
