Goldie Jorgensen

Goldie V. Jorgensen age 89 of Aurora, NE died Thursday, April 10, 2008 at Aurora. She was born August 28, 1918 at Taylor, NE to Albert and J and Anna (Kramer) Price. Goldie formerly resided in Taylor, York, Marquette, Omaha and Aurora communities. Having worked in the food industry for much of her career she was also employed at the Cornhusker Ammunitions Plant. She loved playing cards and enjoyed her garden. On October 28, 1983 she was married to Joseph Jorgensen at Boulder, CO.

She is survived by a son Rick A. and his wife Jeri Price of Forest, Virginia, and a daughter Ann L and her husband William Chaney of Plattsmouth, NE. Her grandchildren include William Chaney Jr, Michelle Pesyalik, Randy Chaney and Jennifer Huffman. Her great grandchildren include Kynan Chaney, Kolton Chaney, Taylor Pesyalik, Brandon Pesyalik, Machenzie Pesyalik and Jay Jacobs and Chloe Huffman. Her step grandchildren include John Harter, James Harter, Kim Hunt and Chris Harter. Step great grandchildren are Alex Harter, Joseph Harter, Sam Harter, Andrew Hunt and Alison Hunt. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three brothers.

Graveside services Friday, May 2, 2008 at the Greenwood Cemetery in York with the Reverend Tim Marshall officiating. Goldie’s body was cremated so there was no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
