Betty Jones

Betty D. Jones, 84, of York, NE passed away Sunday August 8th, 2010 at York. Betty was the daughter of Arthur H. and Helen (York) Minchow. She was born in Council Bluffs Iowa on August 5th, 1926. She was united in marriage to Gale D. Jones on March 24, 1944 in Belleville, Kansas. Betty was an employee for 37 years at York State Bank in York. She was a past member of the Greenwood Cemetery Board.

Surviving Betty are: Husband Gale D. Jones of York, Daughter Connie (Dean) Nickels of York, Grandsons: Shawn Haggadone of Denton, NE, Marc (Cindy) Haggadone of York, Brett (Trina) Haggadone of Owasso, OK. Great Grandchildren include: Emilee Haggadone of Denton, Matthew, Lauryn and Garrett Haggadone of York and Alynna and Gavin Haggadone of Owasso, OK.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church in York. Interment followed in Greenwood Cemetery, York. Memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church in York, Greenwood Cemetery, or York Adopt-A-Pet.
