Leila A. Horner

Leila A. Horner, age 58 of Bradshaw, NE., died Friday, October 15, 2004 at Bradshaw. She was born December 15, 1945 in Broken Bow, NE. to Roy and Rose (Barta) Winbolt and was a graduate of Broken Bow High School. On January 25, 1969 she was married to Dayle Horner at Broken Bow. She worked at the York Wal-Mart store for the last 9 years and in her spare time enjoyed crafts and quilting.

Leila is survived by her husband Dayle of Bradshaw; two sons, Brad Horner of Bradshaw, and Greg (Brenda) Horner of York; a daughter, Stacey Horner of Lincoln; Two grandchildren Harley Horner and Kamryn Horner both of York. Also surviving are two brothers, Robert (Dottie) Winbolt of LaVista, NE. and Harry (Donna) Winbolt of Broken Bow. One sister, Helen Seevers also of Broken Bow. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Ivan, her sister Evelyn, her Aunt Sophia and uncle Ed Barta.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at the First United Methodist Church in York with the Reverend Jeff Wulff officiating. Burial will be in the Lushton Cemetery with memorials being directed to the American Cancer Society. Visitation begins after 5:00 p.m., Sunday.
