Judy Holt

Judy R. Holt, age 67 of York, NE, died Friday November 25, 2011 at York. She was born August 12, 1944 to Raymond and Lois (Graham) Simons in Plattsmouth, NE. Judy had worked in various nursing homes and hospitals in Iowa. She also delivered for Meals on Wheels in Iowa. She was a member of the International Church of Four Square. Judy was united in marriage to Norman Salda in October of 1965 in Colorado until his death. On May 22, 1993, she was then united in marriage to William C. Holt in York. Judy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Bill Holt of York; two daughters: Lisa Rae (Kevin) James of Middletown, Ohio and Deanna Pearson of Lusby, Maryland; son Daniel A. (Diane) Salda of Mountain House, CA; ten grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; three brothers: John (Peg) Simons of York, Tom (Barb) Simons of Lincoln, NE, and Steve Simons also of Lincoln; two sisters: Sherry Pageant of Charlotte, NC and Beverly Simons of Lincoln; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, and her first husband.

Memorial services were held at 2 pm Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at the Evangelical Free Church in York with inurnment at Greenwood Cemetery, York. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
