Tim Hoeft

Tim D. Hoeft, age 45, of York, NE, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Lincoln. He was born July 1, 1965 at York to Bud and Viola (Schall) Hoeft. Tim was a graduate of York High School and the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He was employed as a salesman at G-G Engineering, Omaha, Nebraska Wine & Spirits, Pegler Sysco, Lincoln and Hockenbergs of Omaha. Most recently he worked for Pioneer Hi-Bred in York. He was a sports fan and especially enjoyed playing baseball. He also enjoyed being with his family and friends.

Survivors include his parents, Bud and Vi Hoeft of York; brother Ron and his wife Pam of York; and sister Jamie Lilleholm of Lincoln. Also surviving are nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 28, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church in York with the Reverend Pat Norris officiating. Burial followed at York’s Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
