Donald Herr

Donald Stewart Herr, age 64, of York, NE, died Saturday, May 17, 2008 at his home in York. Donald was born in Washington DC on June 25, 1943 to Donald Abram and Lillian Theresa (Lacy) Herr. He was an Air Force Veteran. Donald is survived by his mother Lillian Herr of Kansas City, MO; 4 daughters; Michelle (Michael) Clarke of Berwyn, NE, Anna Balaban of Lincoln, NE, Theresa Davis of Nebraska City, NE and Christy (Norman) Martin of Culpepper, VA; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, John (Patricia) Herr of Scottsdale, AZ and Robert (Kathryn) Herr of Kansas City, MO; 3 sisters, Beatrice (Larry) Gallamore of Liberty, MO, Lillian (Kenneth) Elsey of Selmar, CA and Margaret Olsen of Salmon, Idaho. He was preceded in death by his father and a son, Michael Stewart Herr.

Memorial services were held on Friday, May 23rd at 7:00 pm at the New Heights Assembly of God in York, NE with Pastor Tom James officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Ft. McPherson National Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
