Margaret Hatra

Margaret Elizabeth Hatra age 86 of Waco, NE died Saturday, July 17, 2010 at York, NE. She was born March 14, 1924 at Bradshaw, NE to Ingvard and Fannie (Keller) West and was a longtime member of the Waco United Methodist Church. Margaret was previously employed at Gooches Mill in Lincoln, NE before joining the York Egg Factory. She then retired from Dale Electronics also in York. Margaret was a former member of the Waco Fire Departments auxiliary the Fire Belle’s and enjoyed baking cakes and playing dice dominos and cards with friends. On October 212, 1950 she was married to James E. Hatra at Lincoln.

She is survived by her daughter Jamie and her husband Bill Snyder of Beatrice, NE and her grandson Dustee Hatra of Bratislava, Slovakia and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and all of her siblings.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at the Metz Chapel in York. Burial was in the Waco Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Waco Volunteer Fire Department.
