Bernice E. Harriman

Bernice E. Harriman, age 87, of York, died Friday, July 2, 2004 at Seward. She was born September 11, 1916 near Arborville to Charles and Mary (Standish) Piper.

She is survived by one son Don (Kathie) Hansen of Seattle, WA; one daughter, Kathy (David) Howton of Mesa, AZ; seven grandchildren, Shelly Atwood, Bob Hansen, both of Seattle, Cindy Boucher of Glendale, AZ, Kenneth McCartney of Seward, NE, Yvonne Eschenweck of York, Patricia Coy of Bradshaw, NE and Russell Vassar of Fairmont, NE; 15 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Richard Harriman; 4 brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 7th at 10:00 am at the Metz Chapel in York. Burial will be in the Arborville Cemetery near Polk.
