BEVERLY HANSEN
Beverly “Jeannie” Hansen Age 51, of York, died Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at Lincoln, NE. She was born on October 24, 1953 at York, NE to James A. and Mamie E. (Wallace) Pinneo. Jeannie was a CSM and worked in the former Odd Fellows Home, the York General Hearthstone, and the Midwest Covenant Home in Stromsburg. She was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church in York. Jeannie was involved with Adopt-a-Pet in York, enjoyed puzzles, enjoyed doing word searches, playing cards and loved working in her rose garden. She was also involved in the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. She was united in marriage to Phillip E. Hansen on December 18, 1982 at Hampton, NE.
She is survived by her husband Phillip and daughter Amanda “Mandy” of York; brothers, Gerald “Joe” Pinneo of Lincoln, NE and Donald L. (Wynona) Pinneo of Lake Forrest, CA; sisters, Mae (Max) Gray of York, Patsy (Bill) Rempel of Seward, NE, Linda (LaVerne) Duell of York and Barb (Francis) Matlock of York. Also surviving are her mother and father-in-law Calvin & Rosemary Hansen of Aurora, numerous special friends, nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services were Saturday, May 14, 2005 at the Faith Lutheran Church in York, with the Reverend Arthur Schauer officiating. Burial was at the United Cemetery north of Hampton, NE.
