Erma Haberman

Erma L. Haberman age 91 of York, formerly of Gresham, Nebraska died Saturday, January 8, 2005 at York. She was born April 5, 1913 at Strang, Nebraska to August and Grace (Bauman) Lubbe and was an active member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church at Gresham. Erma enjoyed helping in the community as a babysitter for many families over the years in Gresham. She also helped her husband on the family farm as well. On April 8, 1931 she was married to Julius Haberman at Gresham. She is survived by three sons, Robert J. and his wife Delores M. Haberman of Lincoln, Donald D. and his wife Delores Haberman of Fairfield Glade, Tennessee, and Edward D. and his wife Carolyn Haberman of York. 9 Grandchildren 18 Great Grandchildren Many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters, Hulda Dey and Ella Erks.

Funeral services were held Thursday, January 13, 2005 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Gresham. Burial was in the church cemetery. Memorials may be directed to The Lutheran Hour or to the donor’s favorite charity.
