Charline Gunselman

Charline F. Gunselman, age 87 of York, NE died Friday, November 6, 2009 at York. She was born August 31, 1922 to Charles W. and Christine (Ellis) Foreman Jr. at Chattanooga, TN. She was united in marriage to Dr. William Douglass Gunselman. Charlene worked as a secretary for the Metropolitan Government of Nashville. She lived a life of service which included missionary work in the Philippines. She was a member of the East Hill Church of Christ in York.

Left to cherish her memory are two sons: Charles (Teresa) Gunselman of Brentwood, TN and Ken (Cindi) Gunselman of York, NE; four grandchildren: Douglass (Dixie) Gunselman and their children Ethan and Owen of Muskogee, OK; Julie Gunselman of Madison, TN; Rebecca (Dustin) Osborn of Chicago, IL; Amber (Brad) Seaton of Lubbock, TX; and also surviving is one sister Priscilla Foreman Kimble of Cortez, CO. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, and daughter Carol Bowling.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 6, 2009 at the East Hill Church of Christ in York. Burial and Graveside services were at 10:00 am, Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashville, TN. Memorials may be directed to York College.
