Mary L. Green

Mary L. Green, age 70 of York, died Friday, August 19, 2005 at York. She was born April 30, 1935 at Columbus, NE to Edward and Meta (Wuethrich) Ernst and was a 1953 graduate of Duncan High School. On October 6, 1963, she was married to Stanley W. Green at Columbus. They lived in Denver for over 20 years then returned to York in 1986. Mary was a homemaker as well as providing childcare for many children in the York area. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in York, the United Presbyterian Women, former Jobs Daughter and for several years she was a choir member and Sunday school teacher at the Columbus Methodist Church. Mary is survived by her husband Stanley of York and her two children, Sheila and Dale also of York. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at the First Presbyterian Church in York with the Reverend Michael Eickhoff officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.
