John Gotta

John JR Gotta age 77 of Waco, NE died Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at Waco. He was born December 30, 1927 at Melcher, IA to John B and Blanche (Newton) Gotta. John was a longtime bricklayer in the Denver area and was a current member of the Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church at Waco. He was married to Bernice L. Cartie on March 9, 1946 at Kenosha, WI He is survived by his wife Bernice of Waco. Two sons, James and his wife Jeannie Gotta of Westminster, Co and Alan and his wife Cindy Gotta of Waco. One daughter Pam Mosley of Arvada, Co. 9 grandchildren, Lynnette and her husband David Adams, Eric Gotta, Jennifer and her husband David Weiss, Jennette and her husband Jeremy Coe, and James and his wife Shawnda Rhodes all of Colorado. Exteen and his wife Sandy Moye of Texas, Lucas Gotta of Phoenix, AZ., Jacob Gotta of Waco, NE and Christina Gotta of Lincoln, NE. 13 Great Grandchildren. 4 sisters, Grace Carson of Denver, CO, Mary Nichols, Annie and her husband Earl Leff and Clary and her husband Spencer Howe all of Kenosha, WI. A brother-in-law James and his wife Joan Cartie also of Kenosha, WI. Many nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Friday, August 19, 2005 at the Shepherd of the Valley Church in Westminster, CO. Burial will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Westminster. Memorials services will then be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at the Nebraska Lutheran High School at Waco, NE Memorials may be directed to Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church or to the Nebraska Lutheran High School both at Waco.
