Modesto Gonzalez

Modesto Gonzalez age 67 of York, NE., died Thursday, April 7, 2005 at York. He was born February 24, 1938 at Villaclara, Cuba and was employed at Even Temp at Waco for over 24 years. He also owned and operated MG Taxi service for about 10 years as well. He enjoyed traveling and his family. Modesto was married to Nereida Figueroa in Cuba. Then he was married to Teresa Gonzalez on November 6, 1966 at Marianao, Cuba. On February 8, 2002 he was then married to Silvia Hernandez at Acapulco, Mexico.

He is survived by his wife Silvia of York; one son, Jaser Gonzalez of York; a step-son Isaac Perez of Mexico; five daughters, Sonia and her husband Jose Luis Gonzalez of Naples, FL., Belkis Gonzalez of Miami, FL., Irene and her husband Russ Williams of Lincoln, Sunen and her husband Kevin Bush of Denver, Co., and Damaris and her husband Dan Polak of York; two step-daughters, Ney Perez of York and Mariangelez Perez of Ohio.;.five grandchildren. Also surviving are four brothers and four sisters and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, four sisters and four brothers

Memorial services were Monday, April 11, 2005 at the Metz Chapel in York.
