Bobby Friend

Bernard “Bobby” Friend age 51 of Roswell, GA died Saturday, February 25, 2006 at Roswell. He was born December 7, 1954 at York, NE to Matthew Ellis and Catherine (McQuillan) Friend. Bobby was a self employed contractor having moved to the Cobb County area in 1972.

He is survived by two sons, Kevin Friend of Acworth, GA and Michael Friend of Decatur, GA. One brother John and his wife Nancy Friend of Lake Charles, LA., four sisters, Francie and her husband John Woolard of Ellijay, GA., Trish and her husband David Moore of Roswell, GA, Betty Bischof of Rome, GA and Sue and her husband Eric Manley of Omaha, NE. Also surviving is his ex-wife Cindy Friend of Suwanee, GA. 26 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Catherine.

Funeral services were Saturday, March 4, 2006 at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in York with Father Leo Seiker officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to St. Joseph’s School Foundation.
