Jerry D. Foote

Jerry D. Foote age 43 of Waco died Sunday, September 12, 2004 at York. He was born April 8, 1961 at York, NE., to Bruce M. and Doris (Williamsen) Foote and was a longtime employee of Champion Home Builders in York. He was a member of the Baptist Congregational Church in York and loved to hunt and fish. Jerry also loved being around his family especially his nieces and nephews. On May 27, 1994 he was married to Colleen Compton at Norfolk, NE.

He is survived by his wife Colleen of York, two daughters Kylee Foote and Halee Foote both of Lincoln. Two brothers, Doug and his wife Sharise Foote of Grant’s Pass, Oregon and Brian Foote of Norfolk, NE. Three sisters, Robin Rene Hill of Palmyra, NE., Cyndie Kohlman of Lincoln and Mistie Leigh Foote of Fremont. Also surviving is his mother Doris Foote of Waco, his father in law Keith Compton of Norfolk. Several nieces and nephews including two great nephews and two great nieces. He was preceded in death by his father and his mother in law Fern Compton.

Memorial services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Friday at the Baptist Congregational Church in York with the Reverend Art Phillips and Phil Towle officiating. Inurnment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Benedict. No visitation or viewing as his body was cremated. Memorials may be directed to Jerry’s childrens’ educational fund.
