Lillian Few

Lillian R. Few, age 89, of York, NE, died Saturday, April 17, 2010 at York. She was born August 27, 1920 north of Bradshaw, NE to William Sr. and Anna Pearl (Gregory) Eberle. Lillian was a 1938 graduate of Burwell High School. She was united in marriage to Rufus T. Few on March 30, 1947 in Apalachee, GA. Lillian and her husband owned and operated a dry cleaning business in Atlanta, GA. Lillian attended the First United Methodist Church in York and was a member of the York Helping Hands. She enjoyed gardening, fellowship at the York General Hearthstone and was especially fond of roses.

Survivors include one brother, Clyde (Dolores) Eberle of Fairfield, CA; one sister, Yvonne Eberle of Galena, IL and many nieces and nephews.

It was Lillian’s wish to be cremated. There was no viewing or visitation. Graveside services were at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the Arborville Cemetery, south of Polk, NE. Memorials may be directed to the Giddeon’s International.
