Forrest "Doc" Ferree

Forrest “Doc” Ferree age 87 of York, died Friday, November 26, 2004 at Grand Island, NE. He was born September 11, 1917 at Bradshaw, NE., to Carl and Mable (Broehl) Ferree. Forrest graduated from Bradshaw High School and then farmed his family farm near Bradshaw until his retirement to York in 1977. On April 25, 1943 he was married to Mabel M. Johnson at Bradshaw. He is survived by three daughters; Marcia Grafe of Grand Island, NE, Maralyce Ferree of South Portland, Maine, and Merlene and her husband Terry Petrik of Minnetonka, MN. Four grandchildren; Don and his wife Tara Grafe of Duncan, NE, Dustin and his wife Adrienne Grafe of Clarks, NE, and Daylen Grafe and her husband Dan O’dell of Omaha, Elly Petrik of Minnetonka, MN. Great-Grandchildren include Aaliyah Grafe and Kylie Grafe.

Funeral services were 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at the Metz Chapel with the Rev. LaQuita McKibben officiating. Burial at Plainfield Cemetery near Bradshaw. Memorials may be directed to the family.
