Bonnie Etherton

Bonnie L. Etherton age 68 of York, NE died Friday, November 30, 2007 at York. She was born August 9, 1939 to Clarence & Helen (Johnson) Miller at Exeter, NE. She graduated from Ong High School and on October 26, 1958 she was united in marriage to Lue R. Etherton, Jr. at Columbus, NE. Bonnie worked for over 30 years at York College and spent much of her spare time at college events, especially women’s basketball games. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Lue of York; sons: Jeffrey (Deborah) Etherton of Scranton, IA and Michael Etherton of Lincoln, NE; daughter Vickie (Ivan) Keller of York; grandchildren: Sara Etherton, Nicole Etherton, Ashley Etherton, Charles Ochsner, Michael Ochsner, Alexis Keller and Morgan Keller; great-grandchildren: Jeremy Ochsner, Jamie Ochsner, Caden Etherton, Elijah Ochsner and Alezander Keller. Also surviving are three sisters, seven brothers and special friends Loretta Goben and Mary Gloystein. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Robert.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at the East Hill Church of Christ in York with Bruce Goodwin officiating. Memorials may be directed to the family.
