Doris Epke

Doris Epke, age 88, of Brea, California, formally of York, Nebraska died Friday, June 3, 2005 at Brea, California. Doris was the adopted daughter of the late Thomas and Sylvia Grewell. She grew up in York, attended the University of Nebraska, and was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church in York. In 2003, she moved to Brea to be near her children. Doris will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Doris is survived by her son Greg Epke of Placentia, CA; daughter Gretchen and her husband Nasser Addi of San Francisco, CA; and two grandchildren Nassime and Gihame Addi of San Francisco, CA.

Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 11th at Metz Chapel in York with the Reverend Art Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in York. Memorials may be directed to the family. Visitation begins after 1:00 p.m., on Friday.
