Florence "Penny" Elliott

Florence "Penny" Elliott age 79 of Lexington, NE., died Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at Lexington. She was born April 22, 1924 at Hay Springs, NE to Lloyd and Ruby (Thompson) Wilson. On July 14, 1946 she was married to Gerald W. Elliott at Beatrice, Nebraska. She was a member of the McCool Junction United Methodist Church and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and working with crafts.

Florence is survived by her husband Gerald of Lexington; three daughters, Connie (Steve) Bender of Augusta, GA, Peggy (Paul) Studts of Norfolk, NE, Pamela Ruff of Tuscon, AZ; four grandchildren and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Steve, two brothers and one sister.

Funeral Services were Monday, August 25, 2003 at the Metz Chapel in York, NE. Interment was in the Greenwood Cemetery of York.
