Dennis Eddy

Dennis E. Eddy, age 71 of York, died Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at Lincoln. He was born January 12, 1935 at Pawnee City, NE to Willard “Bill” and Myrtle Eddy. Dennis was a graduate of Norfolk High School, UNO and received his Phd from University of Nebraska in Bio-Chemistry. Dennis was married to Ann Marquardt at Avoca, NE on August 23, 1959. He was a research biochemist at Quaker Oats, retiring in 1999. Dennis was a part-time instructor at York College from 2000-2005. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in York and American Legion Bolton Post #19. Survivors include his wife Ann of York, his parents, Bill & Myrtle Eddy of York and daughter Erica and her husband Stuart Hansen of Racine, WI.

Mr. Eddy had requested that his body be donated to the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2006 at 2:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church in York with the Rev. Michael Eickhoff. Memorials may be directed to the Church, York College or the American Cancer Society.
