James Droege
James Carl Droege, age 68 of Hebron, NE died Monday, July 30, 2007 at Hebron. He was born March 11, 1939 to Carl and Ona (McCormick) Droege at Omaha, NE. On
August 13, 1960 James was united in marriage to Kathleen J. Decker at Glenwood, IA.
James owned and operated Electronic Engineering Service in Beatrice, NE and York for 25 years. Previous to this, he worked for KWBE Radio in Beatrice and worked in Omaha repairing two-way radios. James was a gifted engineer with great integrity and was highly respected. He loved the sport of stock car racing, and raced in Beatrice. James loved his family and cherished the time he was able to spend with them.
Left to cherish his memory are three children: Patty (Jeff) Windsor and their children Benjamin and Amelia of Denton, TX; Mike (Michelle) Droege and their children Brett, Jereme, Dyllion, and Brittney of Beatrice; and Lynn Beckford and her daughter Katie of Denton, TX. Also surviving is his sister Margaret (Jack) Davis of Omaha and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him death were his parents and wife.
It was Mr. Droege's desire to be donated to the Anatomical Board of the State of Nebraska. Memorial services were held Saturday, August 11th at Blue Valley Lutheran Care Home, 755 S. 3rd St., Hebron NE. Memorials may be directed to the family.
