Alta M. Dinkelman

Alta M. Dinkelman age 90 of York died Saturday, February 21, 2004 at York. She was born April 19, 1913 in York County, NE, to Leonard and Emma (Blum) Leybold and was a member of Peace Lutheran Church at Waco where she was a member of the Ladies Aid. Alta enjoyed playing cards in her bridge club, sewing, quilting and enjoyed gardening. On March 7, 1937 she was married to Norman A. Dinkelman at Waco.

She is survived by one son Don and his wife Susie Dinkelman of Lincoln, a daughter Janet and her husband Robert Tieken of Omaha. 6 Grandchildren 6 Great Grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister Grace and her husband Grant Mullally of Utica, NE, brother in law Bill Sayers of Lincoln, three sisters in laws, Dorothy Leybold of Lincoln, Minerva Crowder of Waco and Eleanor Dinkelman of Duarte, CA. Many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and six sisters.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Tuesday January 24th at Peace Lutheran Church in Waco with the Revs. Kris Rebentisch and Marvin Bergman officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in York. Memorials may be directed to Peace Lutheran Church.
