Franklin "Tom" Dick

Franklin Thomas “Tom” Dick, age 68 of Henderson, died Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at Henderson. Tom was born in Hamilton County on June 1, 1937 to Frank H. and Hazel (Carnes) Dick. Tom served in the US Navy from 1956-60 and then married Patricia A. Huebert on June 23, 1961. Tom retired from Cyclonaire, as an engineering monitor, in September 2005. He had worked at Cyclonaire since1979 and prior to Cyclonaire, he had worked at York Bin, concrete business with Joe Pankratz and Epkro Plastics. Tom was a member of the Bethesda Mennonite Church at Henderson.

Surviving are his wife Patricia of Henderson, daughter Patrice and her husband Scott Gaines of Lincoln; son Corey and his wife Stacy of Henderson; grandchildren, Brady & Karli Gaines and Sidney & Camryn Dick; sister Geraldine Parrish of Salem, OR and step-mother Tena Dick of Henderson. Funeral services were held on Friday, November 18, 2005 at 10:30 am at the Bethesda Mennonite Church in Henderson with the Rev. George Kaufman officiating. Burial was at the Bethesda Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Bethesda Radio Broadcast, Bethesda stained glass fund or Bethesda orchestra fund.
